In 1815, at the Congress of Vienna, Emperor Francis hosted delegations from the major powers of Europe. Wishing to please his guests, he orchestrated lavish parties and elaborate dinners. The Emperor went to great lengths to provide tastes from all over the continent. These servings became known among the dignitaries as the "Emperor's Plate". The Empire Torte Company proudly presents our version of the Emperor's Plate with variations of our famous torte. This new selection includes four small chocolate tortes. The Empire Torte American, our original is accompanied by three distinctive  tortes flavored with Raspberry, Caramel and Orange. We use a delicate hand when adding these organic ingredients. Each is an extraordinary cake that is sure to captivate.The Emperor knew that with variety he could show a refined sensitivity that would appeal to hearts as well as palates.
